Successful Pancake Breakfast Turnout

On Saturday, April 29th, the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 966 held their annual pancake breakfast at Sacred Heart in Pinehurst.

The fundraiser was a success, yielding about 250 guests.  The VVA hopes to use the funding to help Vietnam veterans in the community.  More specifics as to the use of the funds will be discussed at a future meeting.

One guest at the event was Mr. Bill Flanagan, a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the War in Vietnam.  Flanagan has been a member of the VVA for about five years.  He started his career in the military police before moving to artillery and maintenance.

The VVA was pleased with the turnout of the event and looks forward to having the pancake breakfast again next year.
