Blush Salon – Finding The Right Hair Style For You

Blush Salon has been open for the last 12 years, with the business leadership of Megan Hamilton. With her experience of having done hair for the past 20 years, she is well versed on the ability to balance the customer’s desired hair design with the correct cut and fit for their face shape and hair texture.

“When I was little I would pretend I had a little salon when I would go to my Grandma’s and I would do her hair.  So it started back then and when I graduated high school I decided to go into beauty school and it took off from there,” Hamilton said.

Working alongside Megan Hamilton are stylists Bridget Hitchcock and Tiffany Carpenter. With many years of experience, licenses in cosmetology, and constant continuing education workshops throughout the year, Hamilton and her staff of stylists have a wide range of credentials.

Hamilton’s personal favorite part of the hairstyling is getting to do colors on clients who want to change up their hair look.

Though Blush Salon does take walk-ins, it is best to make an appointment to have set up a time and stylist.

Carrying a wide range of professional products, such as REDKEN, Goldwell, and other brands, Blush Salon is committed to using the best tools to complete their customer’s hair styling needs.

The first thing that they hope clients notice about their salon is that it is a happy and welcoming environment. They are family friendly and welcome kids to hangout while their parents are in hair appointments.

“We use all Goldwell products for hair coloring, but we have many products available for clients. Products that are sulfate free and for especially color-treated hair,” Hamilton stated.

They offer a wide variety of hairdressing and styling services, from makeup applications, to a stylist specializing in bridal hair, to facial waxing, haircuts and coloring. They also offer services also include men’s and children’s haircuts and colorings as well.

“It is good that you look for somebody that really listens to what the client’s desired outcome is, and someone who really pays attention to what would work best for that person,” Hamilton said.

With regularly attending hair shows and keeping updated on the constant change and evolution of hair fashion, Hamilton and her stylists are continually being updated on the newest trends in the hairstyling business.

“We hope that by the time you leave you feel like you’ve made a new friend,” Hamilton stated.
