Support Pinecrest Athletic Booster Club at Fair Barn Auction March 16th

The Auction, to be held at the Fair Barn, will provide much needed funds for all sports at Pinecrest

The Third Annual ‘Back the PAC” Auction will take place on Saturday March 16, 2019 from 6 – 11:30 pm at the Fair Barn. There will be a Silent Auction, Live Auction, and Wine Raffle, along with food by Elliotts on Linden, beer and wine, and music with DJ Curtis King.

The Pinecrest Athletic Club, also known as the PAC, provides support and funding for all athletic teams at Pinecrest High School. Last year the auction raised over $100,000. This allowed the PAC to tackle a number of important projects at the school. The PAC was able to completely renovate and up-fit the women’s weight room. Also, funds were used to paint the interior of the old gymnasium and to add an enormous wall graphic of student athletes and fans. To wrap up major improvements, the PAC upgraded the speaker system in the gym so that dances, pep rallies and large student body meetings can be held in the gym instead of off campus. Many smaller projects were also funded by the auction proceeds, including installing a new ice machine in the training room to better serve injured athletes, purchasing a fogger machine to combat MRSA and Staph infections in the weight and locker rooms, and upgrading the practice fields in the main stadium.

“None of this would have been possible without the support of the 400 parents who attended last year’s auction and the generous donations from our community. The goal this year is to surpass the $100,000 mark. The “Back the PAC” Auction has become an event that all parents of athletes do not want to miss,” added Christa Gilder, event Co-Chair.

Tickets are $50 each, or $500 for a table of 10, and includes heavy hors d’oeurves, beer, wine and music. The Pinecrest Athletic Club is a 501(c) (3), not for profit organization comprised of dedicated parents, guardians, alumni, coaches, teachers, school administrators, and community members. The Athletic Club supports ALL teams and athletes at Pinecrest High School (PHS).
