Free Music Class For Children and Parents!

Looking for something to do with your toddler that’s both stimulating and fun?  Join Music Class at Moore Pediatric Therapy!

Moore Pediatric Therapy is offering musical class sessions for developing children up to the age of five.  Classes take place once a week for forty-five minutes over a period of ten weeks.  A class contains a maximum of about ten children, accompanied by a parent or guardian.

“[The goal is] to get kids and parents involved in music together,” instructor Dori Wales said.

Wales used to have her own dance studio where she had the music class for about ten years before taking a break.  After five years without it, she realized how much she missed the class.

“I truly missed this part. . .,” she said.  “Music enhances all age ranges.”

Parents or guardians accompany their child during the class as they sing the “Hello Song,” tap to beats, play instruments, and more!

“Parents are invited to the class. . . It makes it more comfortable [for the children],” Wales said.

Those who sign up for a session also receive a CD to take home and listen to, enhancing in-class experiences for the children.

“Kids take to music really well,” she said.

Wales is holding two free music classes for children and parents to try!  These free classes will take place on Tuesday, March 28th at 5:00 PM and Wednesday, March 29th at 10:00 AM.
