Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Frequency: A Holistic Approach To Pain Relief

Eric and Rachael are certified Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Frequency (PEMF) practitioners who are authorized to provide PEMF treatment to individuals who are suffering from pain, soreness, stiffness, headaches, and other physical ailments.

PEMF treatment is operated by a portable machine that uses a system of coils and paddles to channel and direct the PEMF waves to the specific physical region of the pain.

In February of 2018, Eric and Rachael Pratte began researching Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Frequency therapy to create their own business in Seven Lakes North. They finally launched Freedom Farm PEMF Therapy in August of 2018.

“With so many young families and people who are moving to the area, we were really wanting to base this here,” Rachael Pratte stated.

With PEMF therapy, it is common for clients to notice improvement in their symptoms within just 24 hours of therapy.

“This treatment can be used on people, animals, and horses,” Rachael stated.

PEMF treatment is often used to assist in reducing inflammation, relieving soreness or pain, and stimulate cell health. Being non-invasive and also being a drug-free pain alleviation source, the PEMF treatment is a more holistic approach to pain relief.

Eric and Rachael wer certified through Magna Wave, a company that trains practitioners and distributes the Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Frequency (PEMF) therapy machines.

Magna Wave is active at keeping their practitioners engaged and updated on new ways to best use the machine for the help of their clients.

“There is constant continuing education, so you are always learning the newest information available to you through the company,” Rachael stated. “You’re constantly learning and Magna Wave is good at that.”

With a growing population of athletes in the Moore County region due to the tennis, golf, and horseback riding communities, PEMF is becoming considerably more useful in sport-related discomfort and injury.

“Athletes do PEMF treatment after training when their bodies are run down, so they do it after a workout. Athletes do this to help restart their cells to help with the recovery process. The PEMF treatment has helped expedite the recovery process significantly,” Rachel said. “Football players who do PEMF for injuries because that increases the healing process and decreases the amount of time they are down from the injury.”
