Throughout the month of June, Ace Hardware will be featuring a Father’s Day sale on items such as Stihl and Traeger products. There will also be deals on Yeti coolers and drinkware. Free assembly and delivery will be offered for grills over $395.
For those who like to garden, a full line of canning supplies is available to keep and enjoy home-grown vegetables well into the fall and winter months.
Ace Hardware in Seven Lakes celebrated its first year of establishment in in April of 2019. It is located off of NC Hwy 211 at the former Seven Lakes Hardware location.
“The community has been very receptive,” owner Kathy Thompson explained. “The first year was fantastic. We were very warmly welcomed by the community and have new customers all the time. We feel we are truly part of the Seven Lakes community. Customers who frequented the store when it was Seven Lakes Hardware are happy to see us in that location.”
In fact, John Garner, who owned Seven Lakes Hardware, also shops at the establishment. “It’s really fun to see him in there,” Kathy said.
Ace Hardware is unique from other hardware stores due to their diversity of products. Customers may make new discoveries in their clothing and gift section to select a gift for Father’s Day or a birthday. They feature jewelry, soaps, and other unique gifts.
The garden center, which was recently expanded and moved into the front room, is well stocked with fresh plants from nurseries all over North Carolina. Ace has a master gardener on staff to supply clients with knowledge as to what plants may work best for their needs.
The lumber department has also experienced an expansion and is staffed with a lumber expert. Currently, there are about twenty different varieties of lumber available, and more can be ordered upon request. Treated and untreated lumber options are available. Some additional choices were added to inventory at the request of several customers.
“If somebody needs lumber cut to a specific length, we do that service as well,” Kathy said. “We welcome the local communities’ comments or suggestions.”
Now is the perfect time to have damaged screen doors taken to Ace for repair. Repair is done on-site for any type of screen door as well as in-store purchased Stihl items.
Ace offers assembly and delivery of items purchased in-store to the Seven Lakes area. This includes items such as patio furniture, grills, and more.
The store is also an AceHardware.com pickup location. If an item is ordered online, it may be delivered to the store for free in just a couple of days. If any shipped item has an issue, it can be returned to the Ace Hardware store instead of being boxed up and mailed back to the company.
“A lot of items we’ll have in stock that same day,” Kathy said. “We can have some orders ready within one hour of ordering.”
