Sandhills Wedding & Events Association

The Sandhills Wedding & Events Association (SWEA), a local association centered around the many vendors within the wedding and events industries in the Sandhills of NC; announced today the launch of its redesigned logo. They are also working on redesigning their website that should be released later this year.

“The SWEA has had the same logo since its incorporation back in 2013. The SWEA board of directors felt that a change was needed,” said Holly Neal, SWEA President. “We want to keep things relevant so this was a much-needed transformation toward the future.”

Change is inevitable and something the SWEA board of directors wanted to embrace.  However, they didn’t want to change the association logo just for the sake of change. They were looking for a more simple and distinctive representation for the SWEA.

The purpose of the SWEA is to represent the common interest of our members in the wedding and event industry of the Sandhills area in an ethical and professional manner.

  • To foster a cooperative relationship and ethical spirit among the wedding and event industry members within the Sandhills and surrounding area.
  • To promote and generally advance the interests of the Sandhills area wedding and event industry to local, city, and state governments, as well as to the general tourism business community.
  • To accumulate and process information relating to the wedding and event industry and to share such information with the membership.
  • To provide opportunities for networking and group marketing.
  • To supply a united voice to encourage policies and legislation supportive of the wedding and event industry at all levels of government.
  • To promote good policy and sound business principles.
  • To provide educational opportunities in the wedding and event industry throughout the year.

Neal said she was extremely grateful for all the hard work that it took to create the new logo design by the SWEA board of directors but especially Amanda Jakl, SWEA Treasurer as well as DeLeon Design for bringing the logo’s vision through to fruition.

They are eager to share this change with the community as well as all that SWEA is working toward for the future and has to offer our members and the community as a whole!
