Folks of all ages hit the ground running at the Lake Auman Classic 5K on April 27. The race’s third year had 117 participants.
The race is sponsored by the Seven Lakes West Events Committee and thanks the many volunteers who helped make this possible, the Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue for providing traffic support and the many local businesses for their sponsorship.
Finishing in first place was Joseph Skogen. Matthew McLane finished second and Eric Templeton finished 3rd. Kirsten Esplin, Samantha Winn and Jessica Bowlus were the first three female finishers.
The event started with a kids’ Fun Run. Amanda Fraser entertained participants and spectators with her musical stylings.
