As the holiday season fast approaches, Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue wishes to extend glad tidings to all.
In continuation of the department’s support of the Toys of Tots drive, SLFR will be taking donations at the firehouse for children in need.
This year they have some specific things including: STEM toys, arts and crafts, remote control toys and grooming supplies such as razors for shaving.
The most in-need age group is nine to 15 years. Toys for Tots will take any new, unwrapped donations for any age but the above are listed as the highest wishes on their list this year.
Donations can be dropped off at the firehouse, 718 Seven Lakes Drive, West End, NC 27376 during normal business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or anytime you see the bay doors open.
You can also hand your donations off directly to Santa from 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 6 at the station. He will be stopping by for a visit and photos. Santa would love to see everyone at this free event. Donations are not required.
