Seven Lakes West residents welcomed the new year at the 4th annual polar plunge. Over 150 people gathered at Johnson Point to test the waters of 2026 which were a cool, 49 degrees. Kit Herold, assisted by her husband, Greg, organized the celebration which was sponsored by the events committee. Chilled swimmers huddled around three bonfires under a 53 degree blue sky. Several lucky raffle winners took home baskets filled by local businesses. And everyone went home refreshed and ready for the year ahead.
