Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue will host its fourth annual Community Appreciation Night on Friday, Sept. 4 at the fire department, 718 Seven Lakes Drive.
Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to shag as the popular Sand Band returns to perform from 6-9 p.m, with hopes for an extended set.
Food trucks will begin serving at 5 p.m. This year’s lineup includes Grill me Up, Gourmet Galore, Cousins Maine Lobster, Odell and Luella, Sweet Pines, Sunset Slush and Sandhills Winery.
Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase through the Seven Lakes-owned Sandhills Winery. Outside alcohol is not allowed.
Guests are encouraged to bring camp chairs or blankets to this rain or shine event. Accommodations will be made for those with handicap needs to the best of the department’s ability. Pets will not be permitted unless they are certified service animals.
Parking will be available in the upper pasture at Seven Lakes Stables, accessible from Seven Lakes Drive.
This free community event is the department’s way of thanking the residents of Seven Lakes and the surrounding area for their support.
