Andrea Schmidt
Andrea Schmidt, a Juried Signature Artist of the State of WV Watercolor Society with over 40 years of teaching experience in watercolor and acrylic/max-oil, discussed various watercolor techniques and demonstrated them to the audience at the April meeting of the Women of Seven Lakes. Ms Schmidt teaches group and private art lessons in the Seven Lakes area and for the Artists League of the Sandhills. Refreshments were served after the program and brief business meeting.
The next General meeting of the WSL will be at the Chapel in the Pines Fellowship Hall in Seven Lakes on May 4, 2017, at 2 pm. Members will vote on the nominees for the Board of Directors for 2017-2018, and Installation of the new Board members will follow. The nominees are: Lee Connelly, President; Barbara Leoncini, Vice President; Karen Burket, Secretary; Linda Stevens, Treasurer; Maureen Miller and Donna Christianson, Membership. Volunteers are needed for the Director of Programs and the Director of Communications. Refreshments will be served after the Installation of Board Directors.
Following the business portion of the meeting, Members/guests may stay to play cards and other games. There will be “learn to play” sessions offered for those who would like to learn a new game. No signup is needed for this portion of the meeting. Come and enjoy a couple of hours of fun, games and socializing.
