The Moore County Board of Commissioners requests applications from citizens interested in filling vacant positions on the Moore County Transportation Advisory Board.
The Transportation Advisory Board assists Moore County Transportation Services in the provision of safe and efficient transportation to Moore County citizens and promotes community support for and participation in the services. Members should be familiar with the transit needs of the general public including elderly, minority, disabled, or low income populations living in the service area. Representation from the following sectors is desired: human service agency, transportation providers, business, government and government affiliates, transit users.
The Board meets quarterly at the Department of Social Services, typically at 3:00 p.m. on a Thursday. Terms of service are three years.
