Join The Family Enrichment Movement as they raise funds and gather school supplies for local children.
On August 12th, a yard sale will take place between 7:00AM and 1:00PM at the intersection of Old Eagle Springs Road and HWY 211.
On August 13th, the School Supply Drive will be collecting donations between 4:00PM and 5:30PM. A Gospel Concert will take place at 6:00PM. The event will be located at Holly Grove Church of Deliverance at 2520 NC HWY 211 in Eagle Springs.
Sherilla Horton – leader of The Family Enrichment Movement – explained the following:
“Proceeds from The Family Enrichment Movement, Inc. fundraising weekend will go towards a stipend for our two volunteers that ran the Summer Camp. These two young ladies executed a fun, yet educational, program with an admirable amount of professionalism and integrity.
“Proceeds and supplies donated will also go towards implementing programs for next Summer and to support students in need during the school year. The Family Enrichment Movement, Inc. has two signature events in Charlotte, NC that we will expand to the Moore County area. One is our Annual Back to School Carnival and the other is our Annual Christmas Tree Santas.
“We look forward to servicing the community for years to come. Thank you in advance for your support.”
