On February 14th, Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines and New Horizons Band in the Pines celebrated Valentine’s Day with the community. Chapel in the Pines provided refreshments for attendees as the New Horizons Band played an assortment of popular concert tunes.
Chapel in the Pines retired Associate Pastor Fran Stark organized the event. Pastor Stark said the event is part of the chapel’s Outreach Ministry Lunch Bunch program. The Lunch Bunch is a once a month lunch meeting for single seniors. Usually, The Lunch Bunch is only open to single seniors, but for Valentine’s Day the entire community is invited to attend. This is the seventh year that the New Horizons Band has played the event.
