Seven Lakes Dance is a local studio with a national impact. Established in 1997, Seven Lakes Dance began with a dream and today fuels the dreams of its students. Students as young as 2 years old are taught the foundation of dance from nationally renowned instructors. Seven Lakes Dance students have been awarded numerous scholarships and travel for additional training all over the U.S. The studio holds nine consecutive national titles and for the last two seasons, have won six different divisions at national competitions.
The most valuable lessons that dance students learn are determination, teamwork, respect for others, and self-confidence. Seven Lakes Dance guides the minds and bodies of young dancers and prepares them for success in competition as well as in life. This past season, Seven Lakes Dance was awarded the Studio of Excellence Award by the Association of Dance Competitions and Conventions as well as the Studio Professionalism Award while competing at different competitions. Seven Lakes Dance was also voted Best Dance Studio in the 2018 Best of The Pines Contest. The studio has been awarded numerous choreography and entertainment awards at competitions and took home a third place at the World Dance Championships in 2017.
On February 23rd at 6pm, Seven Lakes Dance will be hosting “Showcase 2019: An Evening of Dance” at Robert E. Lee Auditorium on the Pinecrest High School campus. Students will be performing their competition dances for this upcoming season. It will be an entertaining night and is a chance for national champions to perform in front of their hometown in Moore County. Doors open at 5pm.
