Raleigh, N.C. – Today, I, along with Senator Jim Burgin, Representative Jamie Boles, Representative MaryAnn Black and Representative Steve Ross participated in a legislative round table discussion with the Presidents and Trustees of the Community Colleges of North Carolina. At this meeting we discussed a variety of issues including work force development, community college salaries, continuing education expansion and career coaches imbedded in high schools as well as several other topics important to the community college system and its students.
