PINEHURST—Amy Cradic, board certified family nurse practitioner, will join FirstHealth Cardiology located at 7 Regional Circle in the Heather Glenn Office Park in Pinehurst later this summer.

Cradic has more than 20 years of experience in health care.  Throughout her career, she’s worked in emergency and family medicine, cardiology, psychiatry and women’s health.  She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient care.

According to Cradic, her passion has always been in cardiology.  Early in her training, she earned a degree in cardiovascular technology from Northeast State College in Tennessee.

“While at Northeast, I had the opportunity to train with some of the leading adult and pediatric cardiologists in the east Tennessee area,” says Cradic.

She went on to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from King College in Tennessee. She later graduated with honors from Austin Peay State University, where she earned her family nurse practitioner degree.

She credits her passion for helping others and strong faith in God for leading her to a career in health care.

“I have always found so much joy in helping others,” says Cradic.  “I aim to always provide caring, compassionate care with love and respect for all of my patients.”

Cradic says she was attracted to FirstHealth for its reputation for outstanding care.

“FirstHealth has the leading medical facilities in the area,” says Cradic.  “I’m excited to be a part of the team.”

At FirstHealth Cardiology, Cradic will join Mark D. Landers, M.D., H. Allen Strunk, Jr., D.O., Peter J. Vassallo, M.D., and Dinah P. Welch, FNP.  She will see patients at Moore Regional Hospital and in the outpatient clinic.

Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Cradic and her family now live in Raeford.  She and her husband have four children.  When not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
