Wreaths Across America

wreath cemetery

The cemetery we will be working with is at Fort Bragg.  It is Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.  It has about 8000 graves.

Go to wreathsacrossamerica.org and scroll down to Where We Remember, then go over to “Find a Specific Location”, enter the cemetery name. This is the same group that does the wreaths at Arlington.  There are two areas to purchase wreaths.  The main one and the secondary one which has the special of buy two wreaths and get a third one free.  The wreaths are $15.00 each.

If you wish, you can volunteer to lay wreaths after the 12 o’clock ceremony on December 19.  This is to Remember those that have died, Honor those that have passed away, and to Teach our children the meaning of freedom.

For questions, e-mail me, Steve Hudson, at shudson21@nc.rr.com.  Hope we can all honor our deceased vets, one of which is a Medal of Honor winner. Be sure to visit WreathsAcrossAmerica.org.
