“I Care About Each Of My Patients”

Haven Total Wellness Clinic in West End has recently welcomed Primary Care Provider Dr. Steven Millen to the team. Dr. Millen has arrived with a passion for helping others and a drive to keep the community as healthy as possible.

“I genuinely love helping people,” stated Dr. Millen. “I love the feeling of helping people get better to the best of my ability. I care about each and every one of my patients as if they’re a family member, and that’s exactly how I take care of them.”

Dr. Millen has over eighteen years of experience in the medical field. As a primary care provider, Dr. Millen takes care of chronic health conditions, such as diabetes and issues with blood pressure and cholesterol on a daily basis. To properly treat his patients, Dr. Millen meets with each one to run lab tests and prescribe medication whenever necessary.

Haven Total Wellness Clinic provides care for patients who may need to be seen as soon as possible without a trip to a busy doctor’s office or emergency room. Common acute illnesses treated at Haven Total Wellness Clinic range from earaches to sinus infections. In addition, the clinic also offers preventative care such as vaccines and physicals.

A North Carolina native, Dr. Millen currently lives in Hamlet, though he was born and raised in Rockingham. His ties to the sandhills lead him to look out for the local community and serve them with top-quality, professional medical care.

“I really go out of my way to take care of my patients,” said Dr. Millen. “I get to know all of them and care about everyone who walks through the door.”

This year, Haven Total Wellness Clinic is remaining diligent in taking appropriate COVID precautions. The entire Haven team is dedicated to keeping patients happy, healthy, and well cared for. According to Dr. Millen, patient’s health and happiness is top priority.
