The Seven Lakes West Events Committee has scheduled the Lake Auman Classic 5K for March 5.
The race check-in, start and finish lines will be at the community pool gazebo. The event begins at 9 a.m. with a short Kids Dash. The race begins at 9:30 a.m.
Online registration can be completed up to the day of the event. Prices increase as it gets closer and T-shirts are not guaranteed past Feb 7.
The Kids Dash is free and will include a finisher medal (not a T-shirt.) T-shirts may be available at the race while supplies last.

A few roads in the community will be shut down for short periods of time the morning of the race. All homeowners will be able to enter and exit the community via either the front or back gate, but not both.
More info will be provided as to locations and times. Affected areas are primarily Longleaf Drive between Otter and Vanore, and the Vanore, Fawnwood, Lawrence Overlook and Otter section of the community. Traffic will be limited from approx 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on March 5.
