The Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue station will welcome the community to its annual Open House Saturday Oct. 29 from 1-4 p.m.
The event lineup includes bounce houses and fire truck rides. Free hotdogs, snow cones and popcorn will be provided, as well as candy.
The department invites everyone to come meet local firefighters and see what being a firefighter is like. Wearing of Halloween costumes is encouraged.
Station personnel will have educational materials about the various programs offered as well as fire safety tips.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of National Fire Prevention Week. The station’s newest engine will be opened for everyone to see.
The station is located at 718 Seven Lake Drive North.
