More than 3,000 hand blown glass pumpkins in all sizes, shapes and colors will be on display and available for purchase at the School House Gallery at Starworks October 7th through the 28th. The School House Gallery at Starworks is open Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm. There is no cost to attend, but due to expected crowds reservations are required to shop on opening day, Saturday, October 7.

The Glass Pumpkin Patch is one of Starworks’ most popular annual fundraising events. Each pumpkin is a unique work of art, hand-blown by the team at Starworks Glass, including resident artists and interns. Glassblowers begin creating this lineup early in the year to guarantee a massive selection of pumpkins, gourds, and seedpods. This year the team at Starworks Glass is excited to introduce many new color combinations! Proceeds from the event help fund Starworks programs, including K-12 educational programs.

Register early at StarworksNC.org to attend and shop on opening day, October 7. Starworks will be hosting Smoke House Mobile Bistro Food Truck all day starting at 10am. Stay late for singer songwriter Marshall Sidbury performing LIVE at the Starworks Café & Taproom 7pm-9pm.

Enjoy refreshments from the Starworks Cafe & Taproom before, during and after you shop. The Cafe is open Monday 9am-3pm, and Tuesday-Saturday 9am-9pm. Starworks Cafe has a large selection of hot and cold beverages, locally crafted wines, beer, pastries, locally prepared sandwiches, desserts and other snacks available for purchase.
