A new Tractor Supply Co. is taking form at a busy corner of Moore County.
Several parcels of land totaling approximately 6 acres at the corner of N.C. 73 and N.C. 211 were cleared in August to make way for the first “big box” store in this part of the county.
Since August, the developer, Baseline Development Companies, has made quick work of construction. Walls for the rural lifestyle retailer tower above the previously vacant lot.
Representatives from Tractor Supply Co. say that the store opening is projected for March 2025 if construction remains on track.
The store will provide around 15 new jobs to the area, with at least half of them being full time positions. Those interested in applying for a position can visit www.TractorSupply.com/careers. Roles at the West End store will become available as the store nears its projected opening.
The retailer will bring products for home improvement, lawn and garden maintenance, livestock, equine and pet care for recreational farmers and ranchers, pet owners and landowners.
As an essential needs retailer, Tractor Supply focuses on product localization and exclusive brands, offering products that fit local customers’ needs. The West End store will offer products and services that appeal to residents in the area, including:
- Exclusive Tractor Supply brands, including 4Health pet food, Ridgecut Workwear and Boots, Red Shed Décor, DuMor animal feed and more.
- Pet supplies and accessories with toys, beds, collars, leashes and pet food from brands including Purina, Blue Buffalo and Victor.
- Workwear and boots from brands such as Carhartt, Wrangler, Ariat and Muck Boots.
- A variety of grills like Blackstone and Weber, and grill accessories.
- The battery-powered Greenworks Pro 60V outdoor tools and equipment, and Porter Cable cordless battery tools.
Tractor Supply Co. is the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the U.S., operating 2,270 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states as of Sept. 28, 2024.
