The Seven Lakes West Landowners Association board is preparing for the 2025 board elections.

There will be two open seats to fill by election of SLWLA landowners. The only requirement for those interested in running for the board is to be a landowner in good standing, meaning all dues have been paid.

The window to submit one’s interest and biographical information to the Recruiting Committee chaired by Sue Shepard, closed on Dec. 15 for the 2025 election.

The board seats seven members to serve three-year terms, including four officer positions and three directors.

The board will announce candidate forums and publish biographies through the TownSq app once the slate has been finalized.

Packets containing ballots and instructions for returning them will be mailed to landowners during the first week of February. The newly elected officers will be welcomed at the SLWLA annual meeting which takes place on the third Sunday of March.

There are other ways to contribute to community life outside of being elected to the board. Board President, Frank Ingham, invites landowners to consider becoming involved with the committees that make the community run.

“It’s a great place,” he said. “Do what you can do.”
