Women of 7 Lakes (WoSL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for local charities and providing outreach within the Seven Lakes/Moore County area.
In March, the WoSL will celebrate Women’s History Month by hosting a panel of female entrepreneurs in the Seven Lakes area. This event will take place on Thursday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at The Chapel in the Pines in Seven Lakes.
Women business owners will be provided with an opportunity to showcase their businesses and provide inspiration and enlightenment to others interested in opening a business. The WoSL will provide refreshments.
The business owners who will be participating and their businesses are:
- Wendy Crespo, Carolina Property Sales;
- Katie Carpenter, The Racquet Club at Seven Lakes (including The Pickle Place);
- Dena DeLucia and Chelsea Huggins, DeLucia’s Bake Shop;
- Jill Snow, Tracy’s Carpets;
- Jennifer Boyd, Jennifer Lynn Interiors;
- Nancie Hurst, The Tended Soul Therapeutic Massage, LLC; and
- Lisa Padilla, Lisa’s Boutique.
Flyers with more details about the event will be posted in mid-February in the SL
North, SL South and SL West mail rooms and at the West End Post Office.
