Every Thursday from March through November the ladies of the Beaconettes golf group tee it up at Beacon Ridge for nine holes of competition and fun.
The group celebrated the end of the 2025 playing season with lunch and awards at the Southside Bar & Grill on Thursday, Dec. 4. Twenty three members attended.
The following certificates were awarded:
* Most Improved: Georgette Hill;
* Most Birdies: Mary Ellen Buckley and Barb Brazer (tied with 3);
* Most Chip-Ins: Sara Swicegood (10);
* Ringer Board: Red Tees – Mary Ellen Buckley; Green Tees – Sara Swicegood;
* Most Rounds Played: Georgette Hill (33);
* Closest to the Pin, Mary Ellen Buckley (Hole No. 14 – 6 ft 1 inch); Hole 3, Pat Price (12’4”); Hole 6, Terry Rudziensky (15’9”); Hole 16, Pat Price (9’3”)
* Most Closet-to-the-Pin Wins: Cara Karnish (5 Holes – 3, 6, and 14)

with her certificate and cash award.
