The Women of Seven Lakes is held a luncheon on Thursday, September 7th to introduce themselves to potential members.
President Lee Connely has been involved with the group for the past eleven years – three of which she held the title of President. She explained that the Women of Seven Lakes is a social group that also has fundraisers throughout the year to give back to the community.
Their purpose is to “promote fellowship among members of the Seven Lakes community, to sponsor recreational activities and social events, and to engage in charitable enterprise in the Seven Lakes area.”
The ladies meet every first Thursday of the month at Chapel in the Pines at 2:00PM. Every month they have a “speaker or program highlighting a wide range of topics.”
The Women of Seven Lakes have a variety of events planned for the upcoming year. On October 5th, the ladies will have International Speaker and Author Iris Angle speaking at their meeting. On November 2nd, they will be hosting a Fashion Show with clothing from Lisa’s Boutique.
