Meet Moore County’s first baby of 2018 – Victoria Vazquez Cabrera. The New Year’s baby was supposed to make her debut on January 2, 2018, but instead entered the world at 12:28 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Her mother, Emma Cabrera Martinon, and her father, Eduardo Vazquez, both of Carthage, were excited to meet their newest addition, who arrived with a full head of hair just like her older brother and sister. Little Victoria weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 20.25 inches long when she was delivered by Kendall Zmiewsky, M.D., of Southern Pines Women’s Health Center, a FirstHealth Clinic, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
