With only seven weeks remaining on our league schedule, the race is heating up between the “Painters” and the “Physicians” for the title. The Painters have taken a 3-point lead after a sterling performance by west-sider Jack Fetzer this week. Jack just missed perfection and settled with a 288 game and helped propel his Painter team into first place. On the same day, west-sider Max Picinich had his single game best 267 keeping his team near the top of the standings.
Not to be outdone by the west-siders, the season has also produced notable achievements by southsiders Jon Craig and Ed Nuti. Jon had his season best 259 game and 634 series while Ed had a single game 268 and a 739 series earlier in the season.
