Red&Black “Who’s Who” Gala Fundraiser

Concerned Citizens for Community Action , a nonpolitical, nonprofit diversified community organization, whose mission is to educate, inspire youth and unite communities, beginning with the most disadvantaged group, will host its Red&Black Attire “Who’s Who” Gala Fund Raiser, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Hampton Inn, 200 Columbus Drive in Aberdeen, NC from 6:00pm -12midnight, to raise funds to build a “State of the Arts”  Recreation Youth Cultural Development Center on Hwy 211 in Eagle Springs or at  the new proposed site in West End, NC,  to serve 2,500 local youth and families from Moore County and surrounding Counties.
A Special Unsung Hero Tribute Honoring  the late Ramona Brant, who was granted Pardon by former President Barack Obama after serving 25 years in prison  for a crime she didn’t commit,  will be presented by Tiawana Brown, CEO/Founder of Beauty After the Bars Inc.  along with Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Ray Mercer, Actress/Motivation Speaker, Alberta Gordon, FSU Coach Ken Spencer, Maryland State Coach, Bobby Collins, Aberdeen Mayor Robert Farrell, Fayetteville Mayor Mitch Colvin, and 15 “Who’s Who” recipients.
Concerned Citizens is a group of individuals dedicated to uplifting youth and uniting communities. Our goals are rooted in educating youth to make ethnical choices in their lives. it is our aim to prepare youth to live informed lives, regardless of religion, race or political affiliation.
Live Entertainment will be provided by Recording Solo Artist, Anna Elizabeth who will perform her latest song and Musician Gary Brown. Dinner will be served and Photo’s by McAllister Photography.

Proceeds after paid expenses will go into Recreation Youth Cultural Development Center Account. Donations accepted. Make Check payable to : CCFCA, P.O. Box 66, West End, NC 27376.   Because of limited tickets and seating , tickets must be ordered no later than March 9, 2018.
