Date: Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2:30 p.m.
Location: Elmcroft of Southern Pines | 101 Brucewood Road, Southern Pines
The community is invited to attend the March 14 Ask the Expert educational seminar at 2:30 p.m. at Elmcroft of Southern Pines. Crystal Fowler with AOS Care Management and Elizabeth Ragsdale with Elmcroft of Southern Pines will facilitate an open discussion titled “Conversation with an Aging Life Care™ Professional.” Attendees are invited to share their questions, experiences, and lessons learned on the topic of how to age successfully.
Aging Life Care™ professionals provide guidance and answers at a time of uncertainty. Their guidance leads families to the actions and decisions that ensure quality care and an optimal life for those they love, thus reducing worry, stress, and time off work for family caregivers.
As an aging life care manager Fowler works with clients to provide resources, experience and solutions.
“I will share insights into the most basic things clients face to those important things everyone needs to know but does not until it’s too late,” Fowler states about her presentation.
Elmcroft of Southern Pines and AOS Care Management are the hosts for the monthly educational series. The topics include Tips for Successful Aging, Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, Conversations with an Aging Life Care Professional, Relocating, Downsizing and Moving into a Senior Community, End of Life Planning, and Understanding Long Term Care. Each session will be filled with valuable information and conclude with a question and answer period.
The doors open at 2:00 p.m. to provide participants an opportunity visit with the panel of experts and pick-up information on available resources. The program begins at 2:30 p.m.
