Topic: Caregiver Support Group

The
community is invited to attend a new monthly Caregiver Support Group sponsored
by AOS Care Management and Fox Hollow Senior Living Community. Meetings are on
the first Tuesday at 4 p.m. at 190 Fox Hollow Road, Pinehurst.
This support group is open to anyone in a
caregiver role, including family and professional caregivers. Monthly meetings
will feature a guest speaker and close with an open discussion. Caregivers are
invited to share their experiences with other caregivers and create a network
of support.
Discussion topics include Understanding
Palliative & Hospice Care, Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Benefits
of Music Therapy – The Caregiver’s Prospective, Five Wishes – A tool to share
your personal, emotional, spiritual & medical needs, Benefits of Therapy
for Patients with Dementia, Kindness with a Front Porch: The Clara McLean
House, Make Life Easier and Safer: Medical Equipment to Support Your Needs, and
Caregiver Tips to Enjoy the Holiday Season.
