In 2018, Martha’s contribution to Duke Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals surpassed the $2,500 level while contributions over the last 10 years have exceeded $13,000.
Martha’s donation helps to conduct research impacting children and teens around the world, help provide life-enhancing resources for kids and their families with chronic medical challenges and makes the very best clinical care available to children right here in North Carolina. These contributions also provide training and effective emergency response at high schools across our state in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest of a student, staff member or visitor.
“Giving back to the community is not only a priority but an honor,” said Martha Gentry. “Without the generous support of this community, we could not contribute to such valuable programs as Children’s Miracle Network, Sentinels of Freedom, Live After 5 summer concerts, The Woman’s Exchange, Carolina Philharmonic, Armed Forces Cup and many other local tournaments. It is an honor and a privilege to support the many local activities that make Moore County such a wonderful place to live.”
