On Monday, March 23, the Sandhills Woman’s Exchange will host a unique Pressed Flower Workshop from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Taught by Nancy Heilman, member and cabin supporter, participants will learn the art as they follow in the footsteps of Queen Victoria by preserving favorite flowers in this medium. With spring blooms hopefully right around the corner, pressed flowers might become a bookmark or maybe a picture.
