Seven Lakes Garden Club has two events in October. Thursday, October 8th, Caravan to Kernersville to visit a beautiful Botanical Garden and then check out the Triad Farmers Market. They are conveniently located for this trip. If you have never visited the Triad Farmers Market, it is really nice. Large Garden Store with lots of goodies, big restaurant, and big farmers area with vendors that represent a very large portion of NC. Plants, shrubs, fruits, veggies, and lots of goodies. I am looking forward to getting some NC Mountain apples and cabbage!
Heads up: Check out the website: www.cienerbotanticalgarden.org The day of our visit there is a Monarch Butterfly Lunch and Learn. It is at noon, after our tour. The event is nearly sold out. If you want to attend sign up from the website and do it quickly. Not recommending, just want everyone to be aware so you don’t get there and wish you had known about it. Again, nearly full, act quickly.
The Fall Trunk Plant Exchange will be Friday, October 9th, Chapel in the Pines Parking lot. We will celebrate SLGC 30th birthday!
