Grace Church Southern Pines, along with their multi-site campus in Seven Lakes, is teaming up with other Moore County churches and organizations for their annual Serve the City event. Serve the City is one of the many ways Grace Church lives out its mission to “Fill the City with Jesus.”
All across Moore County, over twenty teams of people will be serving the community. Some serve projects include: building a home for Habitat for Humanity, sports outreach at Pool Park, food pantry donations at Lowes Foods in Southern Pines, and painting rooms at the Northern Moore Resource Center in Robbins.
“The goal of Serve the City is to show the heart of Jesus. We here at Grace believe we are here to serve and love the people of Moore County and this is just one way we are able to do so,” said Desiree Bland, Executive Pastor at Grace Church, “Serve the City is one simple way that all of us can demonstrate love towards not just the individuals that attend church, but for the whole community.”
