Haiti Help and Hope is a nonprofit organization founded in 2016 by a group of individuals in Moore County, NC.
The goal of the organization is to support the mission work of Pastor Dortul Sidor in Montrouis, Haiti.
Pastor Sidor has established 5 churches and a school , Lahai Roi. His mission is to share the Gospel, feed the children, and provide an education for the children. Adult English classes are also taught.
Members of Haiti Help and Hope visit and work with Pastor Sidor each year.
One Hundred percent of all monies donated are sent to help Pastor Sidor bring hope, healing, and the gospel of Jesus Christ to a people that have endured the effects of poverty on a scale rarely seen in the world today.
Haitian Reality
*Haiti is ranked number #1 of the 10 poorest countries in the world.
*77% live in extreme poverty
*World Bank notes that more than half of Haiti’s population still lives on less than $1 a day while 80% of the county lived on less than $2 a day.
*Pastor Sidor’s ministry and school do not receive any help from the Haitian government.
