Angel Hands Spa Providing Healing & Relaxation

Bridget Cotton

Bridget Cotton is a seasoned therapist having received her degree from Sandhills Community College in 2002. In all, she has 23 years total of experience in therapy and relaxation assistance.

Since day one, Bridget has been a business owner, building up a clientele at her company of Angel Hands Spa and Wellness Center.

“That name was put on my heart when I started,” Bridget said. “I like helping people, and I like for them to feel better than when they came in.”

Being born and raised in Moore County, Bridget’s business has always been local. However, she recently relocated the company in May when she came to Seven Lakes to 124 North Trade Street in Suite B and is currently a part of the Seven Lakes Business Guild.

“I know a lot of people in Seven Lakes, and I feel like they really need more services like I offer,” she said. “I love Seven Lakes and how they support their own community before they go out.”

Although it is not currently a full spa, Bridget wants to provide clients with a spa-like atmosphere that brings serenity and peace to both the mind and body. Bridget is known for finding trouble spots on clients and massaging out the tension.

“People say ‘Oh, you found it! How did you find it?’ It’s like my fingers read their muscles,” she said. “I just let my fingers do the work.”

Currently, Angel Hands offers massage, skincare, facials, full body waxing, eyebrow and facial threading, and microblading. Body treatments include scrubs, exfoliations, skincare treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and LED light therapy.

“I like to use massage therapy as a wholistic approach,” she said. “I tell people to try the natural stuff first and see where it gets you.”

For those with bodily pain, a hot stone or deep tissue massage is recommended to provide good results with decreasing pain level and increasing mobility, flexibility, circulation, and range of motion.

During sessions, the lights are dimmed, and music plays to offer a peaceful, Zen environment. She also has a little waterfall. Her goal is to have clients feel relaxed and comfortable while they receive some self care.

“I want them to feel that they’re on their own tropical island; this is their own personal time to get away,” she said. “For some of them, the only time they stop to take a breath is when they’re on the table. Before that they’re so busy running around.”

Bridget tailors her care to clients’ needs and can provide special services for maturing skin such as facials, antiaging and hydration creams, and skincare routine recommendations.

“I customize it to their needs. There’s no ‘one way fits all.’ Everything is pretty much customized to the client,” she said.

On October 23rd, 2020 at 9:30am, the Moore County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at Angel Hands Spa and Wellness Center. Prizes were also be available for attendees.

Bridget is currently looking to hire a few massage therapist to help at her wellness center. For those who are interested, please email Bridget Cotton at bcangelhands@ymail.com.
