Christine McPartland recently finished her first year as Business Relations Director for The Seven Lakes Insider.
She has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, including her long-time career with the brand Phillip Morris. Christine also occasionally does freelance work as an interior designer.
Although now a proud resident of Seven Lakes West, Christine is originally from Brooklyn and Queens, New York. She and her husband moved south with their young children following the events of 9/11, and found themselves in Cary.
After making North Carolina their home and raising two sons, the couple bought a house on Lake Auman. Their “vacation home” eventually evolved into their full-time home.
Nowadays Christine enjoys few things more than floating on the lake with a cocktail in hand, surrounded by good company.
Though she isn’t afraid to relax, she has always been an entrepreneur at heart. “I love a challenge,” Christine said. “I set goals and then I meet them.”
The COVID-19 pandemic brought about an unfamiliar set of hurdles: she was stuck at home and frequently bored. That’s when Christine got involved with the Seven Lakes Insider. Despite starting her job in the midst of a pandemic, she has managed to cultivate strong relationships in the business community.
Christine has high hopes for the Insider moving forward. “I’m excited to keep watching it grow,” she said. “I want it to be a staple on everyone’s coffee table. I want it to be something I’m always proud of.”
