The Seven Lakes West Landowners Association is expected at its annual meeting in March to award the Fellingham Award, given to a member of the community who has made a significant and enduring contribution.
Qualifications for a Fellingham candidate include:
* Ten years or more of significant service to the SLW community;
* Contributions that had a positive impact on the lives of SLW residents, created opportunities for the community through new facilities or programs and made an enduring contribution to the improvement of the community; and
* A SLWLA member in good standing during the time the community service was provided.
Posthumous nominations are accepted.
A committee made up of past award winners will review the nominations made by members of the community this month and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors.
