Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue will host its Community Appreciation Night from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1 at the Fire Department, 718 Seven Lakes Drive.
This free event is a “thank you” for the support the citizens of Seven Lakes and the surrounding community has given to the department for over 40 years.”
The popular Sand Band will perform. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase through the Seven Lakes-owned Sandhills Winery. Outside coolers are allowed but outside alcohol is prohibited.
Food trucks are scheduled and a list will be posted to the department’s social media page on Facebook (Seven Lakes Fire/Rescue) ahead of the event.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a camp chair, since the bay floor is not well-suited for blankets. Pets will not be permitted unless they are certified service animals.
Parking will be made possible by the Seven Lakes Equestrian Center, which is allowing cars in the upper pasture, accessible from the fire station driveway on Seven Lakes Drive.
Cones will be in place to assist with traffic direction.
