On Saturday, June 10th, the Eagle Springs Fire Department hosted an event to raise funds for Eagle Springs Connections – a non-profit organization with a goal to “connect, clean, and build” up the community in Eagle Springs.
In addition to bringing the community together, the group has also adopted a section of HWY 211. They meet up to clean their portion of the highway every three months.
The group hosts bonding activities to connect children, adults, and residents. Recently, they gathered to paint the Eagle Springs post office as their way of serving the community.
Eagle Springs Connections is currently raising funds to build a park in the community.
“We want to see the area succeed,” said Lindsey Brogli.
Booths at the event included Eagle Springs Baptist Church, Christian Child Development Center, Martin Farm Pottery, Bensalem Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Classical Conversations, Leaf & Letter, Lilla Rose, Our Neighborhood Learning Center, The Family Enrichment Movement, Creative Scents, Painting at Farmers Day, Laura Cosner Photography, Premiers Designs, and LuLaRoe.
The Eagle Springs Fire Department also had a booth selling reflective house number signs to help emergency vehicles find homes faster at night.
“It’s a life-saver, that’s for sure,” said Firefighter Brandon Dennison.
The next Eagle Springs Connections gathering is a community meeting that will take place on Monday, July 3rd beginning at 7:00PM at the Eagle Springs Fire Department.
