The Beaconettes, a nine-hole women’s golf league that plays on Thursdays at Beacon Ridge, closed out their regular season with lunch and presentation of awards at Mama Mia’s in Seven Lakes on Dec. 1.
Players received their cash awards for weekly play and chip-ins and birdies. President Mary Ellen Buckley presented thank-you gifts to officers and committee chairs. Sue Reaves received special recognition as the Beaconette Club Champion for 2022.
Most improved index was awarded to Sandy McDermott. Sara Swicegood received the award for most birdies.The Ringer Board winners were: Mary Ellen Buckley for red tees and Barb Brazer for green tees. Twenty four members attended the lunch and award presentation.
