The Women of Seven Lakes held their previous meeting back I May and took a break for the summer.
They will resume their monthly meetings on Thursday, September 6th at the North Side Clubhouse at 11:30AM. This meeting is the Annual Membership Drive, and a picnic lunch will be provided.
The Women of Seven Lakes is open to all members of the Seven Lakes community.
New members are invited to come and learn about the Women of Seven Lakes. Annual dues for the group are $12 per year.
They will be getting several speakers to teach the group about a variety of topics including financial planning, memory issues, and more.
“We are trying to focus on legislative issues affecting women and families,” said Publicity Chair LouEllen Runyan. “We hope to have a speaker from the Clara McLean house.”
This will be LouEllen’s first year as Publicity Chair.
They will also have activities for the group such as a watercolor class in October and the Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa in December.
“We encourage new members and anyone to bring their friends,” LouEllen said.
The Women of Seven Lakes hope to promote fellowship, sponsor recreational activities and social events, promote the general well being of the Seven Lakes community, and engage in charitable enterprise in the Seven Lakes area.
